Al-Baha Municipality Launches the Updated Version of the "Services Package for Excellence and Institutional Maturity" to Enhance Governance and Raise Performance Efficiency.
In a strategic step aimed at strengthening automated institutional work concepts, Al-Baha Municipality, represented by the General Administration of Excellence and Institutional Maturity, announced the adoption and launch of the new updates of the "Unified Institutional Services." This step aligns with the digital transformation program in the municipal sector and achieves the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 in raising spending efficiency, improving service quality, and applying the highest standards of transparency.
The municipality explained that this version represents a qualitative leap in the management style of internal processes, as it has been designed to be the first unified reference for all departments and organizational units, facilitating access to resources and information with high accuracy and speed.
Five Main Pillars of the Platform:
The digital portal is comprehensive, including five main tracks covering all aspects of institutional work:
Governance and Compliance: Organizes administrative work through the "Policies Library," "Procedures Manuals," "Commitment Charter," and "Authority Matrix," ensuring workflow according to approved regulations and enhancing integrity and transparency.
Risk Management and Business Continuity: Provides advanced digital tools for monitoring and analyzing operational risks, Business Impact Analysis (BIA) records, and continuity plans to ensure the sustainability of municipal services in various circumstances and crises.
Quality and Institutional Performance: Monitors Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and measures achievement rates, in addition to providing quality manuals that ensure highly efficient work outputs conforming to institutional excellence standards.
Innovation and Development: The platform dedicates space for creativity through the "Ideas Bank" and "Development Initiatives," aiming to motivate municipality employees to provide smart solutions that contribute to developing the municipal sector and improving the urban landscape.
Support and Assistance: Provides logistical and administrative services and service guides that enable all departments to perform their tasks easily and smoothly.
Unified Digital Repository:
The updates also included the creation of a central repository for files and electronic archiving for each department, ending the era of traditional paper transactions in exchanging internal guides and circulars, contributing to preserving the institution's memory and facilitating information retrieval when needed.
Enhancing Institutional Maturity:
The municipality emphasized that this project is an extension of its efforts to raise the level of "institutional maturity," as the platform provides decision-makers with real-time access to compliance status, risks, and performance indicators, supporting strategic planning processes and data-driven decision-making.
The municipality is continuously seeking to employ modern technologies to serve the municipal work system, considering this platform the cornerstone of the institutional transformation project the municipality is witnessing to elevate the system of services provided to beneficiaries in the region.
