About Us

The Al-Baha Region Municipality is a government entity affiliated with the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing, responsible for the development and advancement of the Al-Baha region and the enhancement of the quality of life therein. Through its affiliated municipalities, it works to provide and improve municipal services for the region's residents and visitors. The Municipality’s mandate encompasses urban planning and development; the development of roads, lighting, facilities, and municipal infrastructure; the improvement of the urban landscape and city beautification; and the maintenance of cleanliness, public health, and environmental standards. Additionally, it focuses on developing municipal and digital services while enhancing the quality and efficiency of services provided to beneficiaries. Organizationally linked to the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing, the Al-Baha Region Municipality operates in accordance with the regulations and bylaws governing the municipal sector in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This work contributes to achieving the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 and fostering an improved quality of life and sustainable urban development within the region.

The Al-Baha Region Municipality contributes to achieving the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 by aligning its strategic objectives, programs, and initiatives with relevant national directives, thereby enhancing quality of life, sustainable urban development, the quality and efficiency of municipal services, and beneficiary satisfaction.
The Secretariat works to support these objectives by developing digital and smart infrastructure, fostering secure digital transformation, enabling data-driven decision-making, enhancing the efficiency and quality of digital services, promoting innovation and emerging technologies, developing smart cities, and improving the beneficiary experience.
The Municipality is also implementing a range of strategic initiatives across areas such as cybersecurity, digital service transformation, data management, digital integration and partnerships, digital sustainability, cloud transformation, artificial intelligence, and smart cities.
