Mayor of Baha Region and Princess Noujoud bint Hathloul Visit “Basta Khair Saudi Arabia” Initiative to Support and Empower Street Vendors

The Mayor of Baha Region, Dr. Ali bin Mohammed Al-Suwat, and Her Royal Highness Princess Noujoud bint Hathloul bin Abdulaziz Al Saud – General Supervisor of the Street Vendors Support and Empowerment Team at the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing – conducted a field visit to the “Basta Khair Saudi Arabia” initiative site in the city of Baha.

During the visit, they reviewed the implementation mechanisms of the initiative and the ongoing efforts to organize and empower street vendors, in addition to programs supporting self-employment. These efforts aim to enhance the sustainability of micro-enterprises and productive families.

The visit underscores the continued commitment to strengthening the urban economy, creating a supportive regulatory environment, improving quality of life, and advancing sustainable development objectives by expanding economic opportunities for beneficiaries.
