Al-Baha Mayor Celebrates "Al-Baha as a Disability-Friendly City 2026" Certification.

H.E. the Mayor of Al-Baha Region, Dr. Ali bin Mohammad Al-Swat, received representatives from government entities and authorities concerned with people with disabilities, on the occasion of Al-Baha being certified as a "Disability-Friendly City for 2026." The meeting was attended by the Executive Director of Communication and Change at Al-Baha Health Cluster, along with representatives from the Association for Children with Disabilities, Al-Baha Club for People with Special Needs, and the Ikram Charity Association for the Elderly.

During the meeting, they reviewed key projects and initiatives implemented by the Municipality to promote "Universal Access" concepts and adapt public facilities to empower people with disabilities and improve their quality of life. They also discussed integration efforts with relevant authorities.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the Mayor of Al-Baha honored a number of individuals with disabilities, presenting them with gifts and flowers.
