The Municipality of Al-Baha Region has completed all preparations and arrangements to highlight the manifestations of the celebration of the 92nd National Day, as green and white flags and illuminations were installed on the main Municipality building and on roads, axes, public squares and parks, in addition to preparing and preparing for the launch of a package of national events and activities accompanying the celebration of this precious national occasion. .
The Secretary of Al-Baha Region, Chairman of the Executive Committee for the region’s celebrations of the National Day, Dr. Ali bin Muhammad Al-Sawat, stated that the Municipality and the municipalities of the region have completed all logistical arrangements and equipment for the occasion of the National Day, as the entrances to cities, axes and squares were improved and beautified, more than 30 thousand flags were installed, and another 10 thousand flags were distributed to Military and civil authorities, LED green lighting tubes with a length of 115,000 linear meters were constructed, and 134 buildings and municipal facilities were illuminated, with the preparation and maintenance of 272 parks and public gardens with an area of more than 5 million square meters, and the preparation of 20 sites for celebrations and events in the region.
In addition, 1,426 congratulatory panels and pictures of the rulers were installed, as well as 7,400 green light searchlights, 29 television screens, 8 night laser lighting shows on the mountains, and 50 models designed according to the visual identity of the National Day.
National murals were made on an area of 1,660 square meters, and more than 10,000 gifts were prepared, consisting of distributions, bouquets, pioneers and other gifts.
The Mayor of Al-Baha region added that the Municipality and its municipalities organize, in cooperation with its strategic partners, multiple activities of up to 180 national activities, including folk dances, folk arts, plastic exhibitions, cultural lectures, poetry evenings, plastic exhibitions, fashion, traditional foods, parades of bicycles, cars and horses, and a children's theater. , festivals for productive families, mobile food carts, competitions, gifts, and visits to inpatients in hospitals.
