The village of Al-Abyshina is one of the largest villages in Bani Harir in the Al-Baha area, and is about 10 km from the center of Al-Baha city to the northern side. The village houses occupy the top of a mountain that has been prepared for the surrounding slopes to become arable. Most of its houses consist of one or two floors and are adjacent and most of them are abandoned. Its walls were built using stones packed on top of each other in an artistic way that required high professional experience, and their short was made from the inside with a thick layer of clay and milk. The construction was made using the stone according to the shape of its natural section, which is of different sizes and various shapes, as well as the stones cut to suit the construction. They are semi-polite and their type of basalt are black in color. It was installed in a high-quality technical manner and in a compact manner that ensures the cohesion of the walls. It is noted that building craftsmen have been creative in the compositions of exterior facades and architectural openings through stone protrusions. The roofs were also built using tree trunks with a layer of tree branches above it, and above it mud and milk. In a number of houses, a roof was found based on rectangular wooden columns topped by a piece larger area that resembled the crown of the column and was known locally as (al-Muzrah). Al-Mazrah is considered a distinctive architectural element of this architectural style in that area. The doors and windows of the houses were distinguished by their thickness and were made of thick wood. A wooden frame decorated around the architectural openings can be seen. This adjacent to the buildings resulted in the emergence of the village in the form of an architectural fabric that expressed the local style in the planning of the heritage village, which is characterized by a fortified defensiveness. A number of modern buildings can be seen around the old gathering of the heritage building.
