The village of Qamhada is located on the southeastern bank of Wadi Vaq, south of the city of Al-Baha, and is about 14 km away from it. It is one of the villages belonging to the Bani Khathim tribe in the Al-Baha area. The village includes a number of heritage landmarks, including the Al-Qa'ah Fort, and it is located at the top of Jabal Al-Sharqi overlooking the village, the Al-Dar Fort is located in the center of the village next to the old mosque. It was a lighthouse for the village mosque in the past, and Al Gram Palace. It is located west of the village, which is a large palace consisting of three floors and had a village sheikhdom formerly. The Old Village Building Is Spread On The Flat Foot Of The Hill On Which The Modern Village Buildings Are Spread And Surrounded So That It Is Hardly Seen As A Clearly Visible Heritage Village. Most of its houses consist of one or two floors, which are adjacent and the majority of the village houses are partially destroyed and abandoned. It was built using compact stones as well as stone according to the shape of its natural section, which is with different sizes, shapes and colors, and they were installed on top of each other in a technical way that requires high professional experience, and their short was done from the inside with a thick layer of clay and milk. The roofs were also built using tree trunks and wood in the form of a square section and above it a layer of tree branches, above it mud and milk, and there were found in a number of houses roofs based on rectangular wooden columns topped by a piece of the largest area that resembles the crown of the column and was known locally as (Al-Muzrah). Al-Mazrah is considered a distinctive architectural element of this architectural style in that area. A number of decorations adorning the windows and doors of a number of village houses were also noted.
