Theban fortress

The fortress of Dhiban consists of a wide square base at the bottom and narrows as the height increases, and it appears in its solid pyramidal shape, and its top is decorated with a tower called (Dukun), which is a group of rectangular stones, which were installed protruding from the fortress wall, and then above it a wall about a meter high called (Al-Jun) was built to protect the fortress from intrusion. It was decorated with white marrow stones in the form of a belt at the top, or in the form of triangles, which is what was done in this case. The fort was built using the method of load-bearing walls, which consisted mainly of stacked stones, and each fort has a small wooden door at the bottom. at the bottom.
