Al-Dhafir village is one of the villages of great importance; it is one of the most prominent archaeological areas in the region, which is located on the edge of the center of Al-Baha city on the southeastern side at a high altitude, and was previously the seat of the government. Al-Dhafir village contains a large number of old houses that give a very attractive and wonderful view, in addition to being subjected to some modern development, and through it the first regular school began in 1353 AH during the reign of King Abdulaziz, may God have mercy on him, and most of its residents were working in agriculture. The village of Al-Dhafir contains many old heritage houses of small area, built of stone, consisting of housing units close to each other, containing many small windows located on the eastern side of the house. Modern technology in the Al-Baha region was initially absent in the construction of houses, so its inhabitants used nature to build and furnish the traditional house because it does not have water tanks, as decorations were used to decorate the facade of the house before paints and colors of all kinds, and the villagers were creative in the building materials used and the architectural patterns of the dwellings and the construction methods followed
