It is located northwest of the center of the city of Al-Baha, and is 60 kilometers away from it. It is bordered on the north by Bani Malik, on the south by the tribe of Bani Manhab and Wadi Umm Omar, and from the east is Wadi Zahran, and from the west Tihama and Jabal Bahr Al-Ghda. The village is located on top of a natural hill and follows the method of building fortified defensive villages, where the houses are adjacent with narrow streets in the middle of a fort or observation tower. The houses mostly consist of two floors, the construction is made of basalt stone with clay mortar. And the roofs of tree trunks are poured over it a clay layer, the windows are narrow in the facades characterized with wooden doors and columns with beautiful geometric engravings.
