The historical Raghadan neighborhood is located in Raghadan neighborhood on King Abdulaziz Street in Al Baha Governorate. It was originally an old village in Al Baha city, which later became one of its neighborhoods. The name is attributed to the comfort of living there, which helped the population settle in that area since ancient times, and they relied on agriculture, as agricultural terraces were built in it. The village was built at that time on a high hill and is surrounded by modern buildings. Most of its houses consist of several floors and their walls were built using stones stacked on top of each other in an artistic way that requires high professional expertise, and they were plastered from the inside with a layer Thick of mud and adobe. It was built using stone according to its natural cross-section shape, and it comes in different sizes and shapes. It was installed in a highly artistic way. Quality and compactness ensure the cohesion of the walls. It is noted that the construction craftsmen have been creative in the formations of the external facades and architectural openings through Stone projections. Which was also used in building a number of external stairs, which are beautiful and characterized by a high level of construction craftsmanship. The ceilings were also built using tree trunks and kendal wood, and above them a layer of tree branches, and above them clay and mud. In a number of houses, ceilings were found resting on rectangular wooden columns, topped by a larger piece that resembles the crown of the column and was known locally as (Al-Mizrah). Al-Mizrah is considered a distinctive architectural element of this style.The architecture of the area. The doors and windows of the houses were distinguished by their thickness and were made of thick tree wood. A decorative wooden frame could be observed around the architectural openings. It was also observed that the houses of the neighborhood were separate and adjacent, and although a number of them were dilapidated, a number of alleys were observed between them, which created an architectural fabric expressing the local style in the planning of the heritage village.
