Al Baha Municipality Strengthens Volunteerism with 144 Opportunities and Initiatives in August

The Al Baha Region Municipality, represented by the Partnerships, Social Responsibility and Events Agency, continued its efforts during August 2026 to enhance community participation and promote a culture of volunteerism through the implementation of a package of opportunities and initiatives that contributed to expanding participation and achieving economic and social returns.

Performance indicators showed that (144) opportunities and initiatives were implemented during the month, with the participation of (2,160) male and female volunteers who contributed (10,800) volunteer hours, reflecting the scale of participation in the programs and opportunities implemented by the Municipality.

The impact of these efforts extended to the economic aspect, as the economic return of the activities and initiatives implemented during August reached (692,686) Saudi Riyals, highlighting the added value of volunteer work and its role in achieving an impact that goes beyond community participation to contributing to maximizing the utilization of resources and human capacities.

In terms of the quality of initiatives and measuring their impact, the satisfaction indicator recorded a rate of (100%), reflecting the level of engagement with the programs and initiatives implemented and reinforcing the importance of continuing to develop the system of partnerships, social responsibility, and volunteer work.

Through the Partnerships, Social Responsibility and Events Agency, the Al Baha Region Municipality works to strengthen integration with the community and provide opportunities that encourage participation in volunteer work and community initiatives, contributing to developing a culture of social responsibility and enhancing sustainable impact.
